PROFILE

    • Being a unit of Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia in training sector and other competitive service interrelated in Indonesia (2005)
    • Being an excellent unit effort in training sector and services in Indonesia (2010)
  2. P2M MISSION According to AD-ART P2M-2001, that is :
    • Continuous improvement
    • Providing certifiable training services and other interrelated services by fully oriented to customer need.
    • Giving benefit and profit contribution to Mechanical Engineering Department institution, instructor staffs, and employees.
  1. COMPANY SUMMARY

    2. P2M - Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia which has been established since 1985 is an interactive place between profession and lecturer. Establishing P2M is marked by organizing Basic Design System AC training in cooperation with one of famous AC equipment producers in the world.

    Almost two decade, P2M has been organizing continuing education program, in the form of organizing training in M/E (mechanical and electrical). Through this program, P2M has helped company or organization in developing their Human Resources.

    P2M service training users are companies/organizations from many field of business and economic scala. They are from private company, BUMN, foreign private which geographically spread over Indonesia. Every year, there are around 500 alumnus from P2M training.

    By supporting from all Mechanical Engineering Department staffs and other department in Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia and also professional and practitioner from alumnus or industry, P2M still consistence to play an important role in developing Human Resources through training programs.

      • 50 % ownership is Mechanical Engineering Department Institution
      • 50 % ownership is Mechanical Engineering Department Staffs
    • LOCATION AND FACILITY
      • P2M is located in Gedung Laboratorium Teknik Mesin, Departemen Teknik Mesin FTUI Jalan Salemba Raya no. 4 Jakarta.
      • P2M - Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia has representative seminar rooms which are equiped with adequate audio visual, physic appliances for training and laboratorium to support the others.
  3. P2M Main Activities are :

    4. Doing continuing-education and regular or in-house training which has been joining by BUMN, Government, Private and Personal, and also designing specific training needed by company. The education and training consists of :
    • Mechanical & Electrical Training
    • Information Technology ( I.T. ) Training
    • Profession Program ( 1 year ) :

      2. Building Management
      3. Automotive
      4. Welding Technique (Basic, expert, skilled)
      5. International Welding Inspector
      6. International Welding Engineer
    • Laboratory Testing
    • Giving elucidation and consultation service and leading role in campaign IPTEK implementation, consist of making manual, S.O.P and guiding for system implementation.
    • Doing research and co-operate with Private Company, Government and BUMN.
